Our history
The Pham Family Foundation traces its roots to Quang Nam Province, Vietnam, where our family story begins. Our father, Pham Khac Quang, was born into deep poverty but rose above immense hardship with an unwavering belief in the power of education and perseverance. In the 1980s, he moved to Saigon to attend university, carrying with him not only the hope of a better life, but the responsibility to uplift others along the way.
Pham family members were located to the United States in the early 2010s in pursuit of new opportunities and stability. Yet, we never forgot where we came from. The struggles we endured—from post-war Vietnam to life as immigrants—have shaped our values, our purpose, and our commitment to giving back.
Our tradition of service is rooted in the generosity and resilience shown during and after the Vietnam War. That spirit continues today, as we work to inspire and support the next generation of Vietnamese Americans to honor their heritage through acts of compassion, education, and community leadership.
